About Us

Who is Flora? If you know me in person already, you don’t need to read the following. I am just one of those ordinary girls in the world that never stand out from the crowd. Let me tell you a bit of my background; I came from Hong Kong many many many years ago. I have studied and worked here ever since my teenage years. I used to be a very unconfident person. I cannot think of a single thing that is worth mentioning. William said that I have been transformed since I have taken up a nursing degree. I totally agree! I am very proud to be a nurse. This job has changed my attitude towards life. Apart from working, my main hobby is cooking and of course messing about on the internet. If I want to change my job, I will definitely apply a post in Google and get paid to search on the internet. Watch out in the future, I may be the most high tech nurse in the UK.

My name is William Lee. I was born in Hong Kong and has been living in the UK since 1993. My teenage years spent in Shrewsbury has definitely transformed my life. When I look back, I would definitely be a different person if I’m still in Hong Kong. Anyway, I’m the Software Coordinator of the London e-Science Centre at Imperial College where I’ve graduated with a computer science degree. I spent a couple of years in the industry. Well.. same as many people graduated that year, the dotcom boom and bust have made a slight change in my career path. I’m now studying a part-time PhD. My research is… well… I wouldn’t attempt to explain to you since no one can understand it anyway, check out my other website - imageunion.com - if you are curious. It’s all about reasoning on the web! Flora and I will settle in Docklands at least for a while. London’s a great city minus the traffic jam and the tube, but the culture and food are just right (wee bit expensive though)! Anyway, in my spare time (spare time? I’m doing a part-time PhD + full-time job!), I used to like the countryside a lot, walking and climbing were my past-time favourite. However, as you can see from the photo, I’ve been recently transforming (in terms of body mass). I wish to be able to drag myself back on the climbing wall one day!
